Simple Nutrition Tips to Help You Lose Weight and Get Healthy

Eating right is the simplest and cheapest way to getting in shape and avoid many diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases and obesity. The main cause of a bad health and frequent illness is usually an unhealthy nutrition.

The massive consumption of fats, sweets and floury products leads to obesity. And obesity doesn’t come alone, it brings all sorts of health problems with it. Usually the modern fattening food doesn’t give your body the essential nutrients it needs, like vitamins and minerals. The lack of vitamins and minerals is another cause for the rise of illness around the world. Illness and obesity apparently are best friends.

What you should be eating is more fresh fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are low fat and full of vitamins and minerals. The opposite of junk food.

You should drink coffee only if you drink it without sugar or with honey in it. Avoid eating fried foods as much as possible. You can replace the fried foods with foods boiled or cooked in the oven.

Just eating right isn’t enough. You have to exercise more if you want to have a healthier life. Physical activity reduces the level of the hormones that favor the fattening process. By exercising more you also balance your metabolism, increasing the burning of fats.

If you want to lose weight I recommend you choose a weight loss diet that has a very varied selection of foods. That way you increase your chance of reaching your ideal weight and not getting bored dieting. Also pick a diet that includes foods with a low caloric value.

While dieting you should avoid eating sweets. But if you cannot stop eating sweets altogether choose to eat sweets that don’t contain sugar. You can eat low sugar sweets form time to time. Dark chocolate is great and also healthy.

While losing weight you also have to make sure your body gets all the vitamins and minerals it needs. Pick a diet plan that contains lots of fruits and vegetables and also dairies, eggs and boiled or grilled meat. You should eat the vegetables and fruits as fresh as possible. But you can also stream or grill the vegetables.

Don’t over salt your food and stop drinking alcohol. If you want your food to still taste good while losing weight use lots of spices. For example to make a tasty fresh salad use oregano, lemon juice and virgin olive oil.

Drink 8 cups of water daily and never skip breakfast. You can start every day with a hefty portion of whole grain cereals. A bowl of whole grain cereals with milk or yogurt and a glass of fresh orange juice is one of the most healthy breakfasts you can have.

Eat many small meals per day. 5 or 6 meals per day will give you all the energy you need during the day. At night eat two hours before going to sleep.
