Eating too many calories daily is the main reason of obesity. Overeating and especially eating high caloric foods are a sure way to get fat. If you eat fast food, which gets digested quickly and makes you hungry fast after you eat them you will get fat really fast. Combining overeating and fast food is the surest way to get super fat and unhealthy.

Eating lots of sweets, especially between meals, also speeds up the fattening process. Pastries also contain lots of fats that make you fat. You have to be careful of foods containing hidden fats like cold cuts. Read the information from the food package before buying it and more importantly read it before eating it.


Eating only 1-2 caloric and fat filled meals per day is a fat packed way of life. You should eat 5 times per day, 3 meals and 2 snacks.

A common trait that most overweight people share is that they don’t eat nothing until nightfall. Even if their day is full of stress and urgent activities press them at every corner, skinny people find the time to eat something during the day. If you don’t eat all day long at night when you get home you will go on a huge binging spree. They just have to quench that burning hunger. The ideal for a healthy life is to eat more often. That way you will lose weight fast too.

Sometimes people overeat by snacking all day long. Munching all the time on cookies, chocolate, pastries, sodas, cake, chips… is bad. Eating junk food all the time is unhealthy and fattening. We all know this but few do something to control occasional junk food binging. Put an end to it.

Even if some succeed to keep healthy eating habits during the first 5 days of the week most screw up in the weekend. They go on an alcohol and junk food eating mode that destroys all the results that they have achieved during the first 5 days of the week. Learn to avoid peer pressure and live an independent life. That way you will be able to have fun while eating and drinking what you want and when you want.


Eating just 100-200 more calories per day than what your body needs daily makes you gain 24 to 40 pounds in 5 to 10 years. If you are a chronic couch potato the fattening process and results will be even faster. Your health will diminish with every day that passes.

The only way to lose weight naturally and in a healthy way you must change your eating habits and exercise more. You have to eat healthy food and get a healthy lifestyle to turn your life around if you are overweight. If you have a normal weight you should get motivated to keep you healthy eating habits for the rest of your life. I suggest that you even go crazy and improve them so you will enjoy top health for a longer time.
