Katie Couric, the very first solo female anchor to hit the evening news small screen, is as noteworthy when it comes to looking fit and toned. She spills to us her secrets on achieving those great calves and strong biceps, all the more giving us reasons to stay tuned to her every evening.

"I don’t deprive myself of anything, and I get enough sleep. Usually 8 hours is enough for me, but sometimes I sleep through 10 hours." She shares. "I have a busy schedule, but I make time for working out."

katie-couric.jpgKatie Couric’s diet plan follows portion control. This eating plan allows her no food restrictions as long as she watches out for serving size and eats in moderation.

Katie Couric’s exercise regimen includes a lot of cardio exercises which burns at least 300 to 600 calories per workout by increasing respiration and heart rate temporarily.

Aside from this, Katie also does yoga and light weightlifting to tone up her muscles without bulking up too much.
