Hourglass figure? Check. Long legs that seem to go on and on and on? Double check. Just one look at Cindy Crawford makes you want to agree. 40 IS the new 20. The forty-something supermodel turned supermom shares her tips for maintaining that runway figure in great shape for years to come.

"Drinks lots of water, find a form of exercise you enjoy and don’t smoke." Cindy says with a smile. "Eat regularly to maintain your energy levels."

cindy-crawford.JPGThat’s Cindy’s beauty secret in a nutshell, but more than that, Cindy Crawford’s diet consists of the popular eating plan, the Zone diet. This diet plan carefully balances the meal with 40% of carbohydrates, 30% of protein, and 30% of fats to experience greatest fat loss while simultaneously gaining muscle mass. Followers of the zone diet eat little and often.

"I snack between breakfast and lunch and again at 4pm so I’m not starving by the time I eat dinner." She shares. "I eat healthy starting with egg white omelettes or yogurt or branflakes for breakfast and lean chicken with lots of veggies for dinner."

Cindy Crawford’s exercise regimen includes running, swimming, weight lifting Pilates and fitness ball to speed up her metabolism, strengthen her muscles, increase flexibility and help tone up her body. 

She has also included a 20 minute cardiovascular exercises of walking or running on slightly inclined ground to her daily workout routine.

"This is all about maintaining an ideal body weight." Cindy says about her workout routine. "You’d feel healthy and fit, which makes you feel sexy."
