Britney Spears’ Diet and Exercise Routines For A Rock Hard Body

Nobody bounces back quite like Britney Spears. From her much talked about wedding to her greatly publicized divorce and well documented papparazi tiffs and several trips to rehab, the Pop Princess who started it all with chart topping hits such as Oops, I Did It Again, Crazy and Sometimes has been looking better than ever. Scratch that. She’s looking mighty fine.

"My diet has a lot to do with my getting in shape." Britney shares. "I’m at my healthiest now."

britney_spears.jpgBritney Spears’ diet strictly adheres to the 1200 calorie rule. Her diet consists of 6 small meals a day of specially prepared organic food — lean chicken, salads, fresh vegetables and other low-fat fare.

"I limit my calories to 1,200 a day, it doesn’t sound much, but really, I still have a lot of food choices." Britney says. "I don’t feel deprived at all."

Britney Spears’ exercise routine includes dancing, 45 minutes to 1 hour on the treadmill, plus cardio and strength training exercises in the gym to tone her muscles in the entire midsection.

"I rely on my dancing to keep me fit while on tour." She shares. "I’ve been dancing since I was a small child.It’s something that I love."

Britney also does Yoga, Pilates and abdominal exercises to build strength and endurance without bulking up too much.

"It’s a grueling workout, I add some stretches and sit-ups." Britney says with a smile. "But it makes me feel better physically and I have more energy. It’s great."
