Alyssa Milano, the brown-haired, doe-eyed beauty known for her TV stints on popular shows such as ‘Melrose Place", "Who’s The Boss?" and "Charmed" has revealed her secret for maintaining that trim physique.

"I believe in moderation." She says. "I work out and take care of my body."

Alyssa Milano’s diet regimen is primarily adhered to the Zone Diet, a low calorie eating plan where each meal and snack has to have about 4-% of the total calories coming from carbohydrates, 3-% from protein, and the remaining 30% from fat. It is otherwise termed as the 40:30:30 ratio.

"I love sushi, and I love Italian cuisine." She says. "But I watch what I eat and I work out to burn the extra calories."

Alyssa Milano’s exercise routine includes weight training to tone up her arms and running, which helps her tighten the muscles in her legs. She runs at least three miles a day as part of her daily exercise regimen.

She also attends a 40-minute spinning class at a local gym wherein muscles are worked by  mimicking a long bicycle ride. She also does yoga two times a week to improve her balance and flexibility. Alyssa Milano’s exercise regimen is greatly influenced by her personal trainer Gunnar Peterson. Alyssa works with him to get her body in great shape using the Core Secrets System, designed to stabilize the spine and prevent muscle imbalances.

"It sounds like a lot of work, but it’s really fun, and it’s worth it." Alyssa shares.

With a body like that, who can argue with her?
