Nicollette Sheridan’s Diet and Exercise: Eating Healthy and Exercising

British-born television actress Nicollette Sheridan best known for her role as Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives is already 47 years old but her body has barely seen a bulge or a sag, thanks to her diet and exercise regimen. She’s definitely one lady we’re desperate to look like.

"I like being active, so exercising is not a problem for me. You just have to make that choice.” She says. "I love french fries and pizza, but other than that, I really try to watch what I eat. I love fresh fruit and vegetables."

Nicollette-Sheridan.jpgNicollette Sheridan’s diet consists of well-balanced meals while practicing portion control. This allows her no food restrictions, as long as she keeps her potion sizes small.

"On set, Teri (Hatcher, her costar) keeps on bringing naughty treats for the staff and crew." She says with a laugh. "I’m always telling her to stop bringing treats in, but I’m really disciplined. I watch what I eat."

She’s also not one to shy away from wearing skimpy outfits, she’s confident in her own skin, thanks to her workout regimen. Nicollette Sheridan’s exercise routine includes a lot cardio such as swimming, running and hiking.

“I like sports and I go to the gym as much as I can,” she says.

Sporty Nicollette also enjoys volleyball and martial arts, while home chores become some form of improvised exercise.

"The choices are endless, really." She says. "You could make simple chores become workouts. Like walking my dog, for instance. He’s really my trainer."
