Kristin Davis’ Diet and Exercise Routine: Varied and Interesting

Kristin Davis had a career-making role as prim and proper Charlotte York on HBO’s Sex and the City and the subsequent movie. Youthful looking, even though she’s over 40, she has one of the most alluring smiles in Hollywood, and when combined with her smoking body regularly treated by yoga and her set of mischievous chocolatey brown eyes, she’s definitely the kind of city girl men love and women envy about. Who knew she hid fabulous abs underneath Charlotte’s designer clothes? Here, she dishes on her tips to maintaining that fit physique.

"I’m a curvy girl, I’m never going to be the thinnest person in Hollywood, but the truth is, I don’t want to be. I went through periods when I said, I can’t have this or I can’t have that, but now, I don’t deprive myself." She says. "I’m healthier now, I watch what I eat, and I eat in moderation. I exercise, I don’t smoke."

"My main issue is to never let myself get too hungry. I make sure I eat every three hours or so, mostly proteins, good carbs, and veggies and salads. I love M & Ms! These days, if I want some, I have them. And by giving myself that permission, I found that I don’t crave sweets as much anymore,” Kristin says.

For Kristin Davis’ exercise routine, she does Winsor Pilates, yoga, bicycling, and walks her dogs.

Bicycling and walking with her dogs are considered simple forms of cardio exercises that help in burning 300 to 500 calories per hour.

Pilates and yoga, on the other hand, helps in toning up the muscles in the body, elongating and strengthening it too. It also relaxes the mind, body and spirit and teaches you the proper breathing and proper alignment of the spine.

"You know, you put on your ipod and do some cardio, it feels good." She says with a smile. "When I exercise, I feel more confident about myself."
