Help! I Need To Lose Weight Fast!

I have recently received the following email: "I’m wondering if there are certain rules to achieve fast weight loss. I hope they are not that hard to follow and produce reliable results. I’m really looking forward to your reply., I hope you can help me, I really need to lose weight fast."  from one of our readers. I thought that was a good question, who’s answer is worth sharing with the rest of my readers. Here is the answer in all its glory:

Absolutely! Losing weight fast is something many people want to know more about, and certainly, there are a few surefire ways to make that happen, and mind you, these rules are pretty simple. It just takes discipline and motivation. You’re on your way.

1. Don’t skip meals!

Youv’e heard this before, and if you’re truly serious about losing weight, you should know by now that eating meals balance your calorie intake throughout the day and keeps the blood glucose levels normal. 

2. Read the label.

Understanding food claims and labels will help in the way that you know what you are putting in your body. A product labeled with a fat-free claim doesn’t necessarily mean it is low in calories.

3. Keep a diary. A food diary, that is.

Keeping a food diary helps keep track of the foods you have consumed throughout the day, pinpoints your eating pattern and will enable you to easily change whatever it is that needs modification.

4. Stay Away from Sugar

Sugar is not necessarily bad for weight loss or weight maintenance when ingested in moderate amounts, but in large quantities, the body converts it to fat. Sugar is a major source of empty calories, which means it doesn’t have any nutritional value. 

5.. Your busy lifestyle is not an excuse. Exercise. Period.

Sure, you’re busy, but that isn’t a decent enough excuse. Exercise lowers stress levels and increases energy. You don’t even have to hit the gym, try making simple house chores, such as gardening, into your workout. Walk instead of using your car. Use the stairs instead of the elevator. It’s just 30 minutes of your time. 

Don’t go for a magic solution, there is none. You say you need to lose weight fast, but with these weight loss tips in mind, shedding off the extra pounds will be faster than any crash dieting will do. Plus, these tips WILL keep the weight off for good.
