Comedian Vince Vaughn towers on the big screen with his 6 foot 5 height, but that’s not the only reason people take notice of this 40 year old star who has appeared in several hit films such as Old School, Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Couples Retreat, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Wedding Crashers. Vince is also lean and fit, and here, he shares the diet and exercise routine that has helped him be in shape for many years.

"Oh yeah, I’ve definitely lost a lot of weight over the years. " He says with a laugh. "I think it’s because I finally had the motivation to work out more."

Vince Vaughn’s diet, unlike other celebrities involved quitting smoking. He claims that when he stopped smoking cigarettes, he didn’t have a hard time to gain weight or lose it.

Vince states, “I had quit smoking a pack of cigarettes a day just in time to put on 25 pounds. Then, when we finished shooting, I said to myself, ‘Well, I can have just one cigarette. It’s been eight months. What’s the big deal?’”

For Vince Vaughn’s exercise routine, he walks together with his personal trainer carrying with him a bottle of water.

Walking, a form of cardio exercise is one of the best forms of exercise since its low impact with no devices or equipment needed during the activity. He brings a long a bottle of water to keep him hydrated while working out.

For walking to be effective and can burn a lot of calories, he tries to maintain a good pace, a strong core, and tighten too his abdominals. He likewise walks up and down the hills to add variety to his routine. Walking can burn as much as 300 to 600 calories per hour if a fast pace is maintained that is 4 mph.
