Toni Collette’s Diet and Exercise Routine: A Healthy Way of Eating

Australian born actress Toni Collette has established herself as one of Hollywood’s most versatile actresses with roles in hit movies such as The Sixth Sense, The Hours and The Night Listener. This 5 foot 6 beauty, who turns 39 this year, sports a sexy toned body to go with those piercing baby blue eyes of hers. Here, she dishes on the diet and exercise habits that changed her life.

"I’m really disciplined about my body." She shares. "I don’t feel like it’s a punishment at all, because it feels good to me, and I like it. I’ve made working out an everyday part of my life and I eat really well."

Toni-Collette.jpgToni Collette’s diet is adhered to the famous macrobiotic diet, which is based on selecting foods that are organically grown and unprocessed.

Among the recommended foods to consume are whole grains like brown rice and grain products like pasta, some cooked and raw vegetables, beans and bean products like tofu, sea vegetables, mild natural seasoning, fish, fruit, nuts, seeds, and mild beverages.

"I’m very into all natural, whole-grain foods." She says.

Toni Collette’s exercise routine is done together with her personal trainer who she has been working out for years. She does cardio exercises every morning for 45 minutes every day. Toni does yoga and Pilates to keep her body well-toned without developing bulky muscles. She also does light weight lifting using 2 to 5 pounds weight.

"I do cardio like, 45 minutes a day." She shares. "I have a trainer and she’s really good at motivating me."
