Weight loss isn’t hard at all. All you have to do is arm yourself with willpower and patience and soon you will notice to desired results.

So you don’t put your health at risk you shouldn’t lose more than 1 pound to 3 pounds per week. Anything over 3 pounds is not a healthy weight loss and probably you won’t be able to maintain the weight off for a long time.

You must understand that for weight loss you must do as much physical exercises as you can and have a balanced, healthy nutrition. The basic weight loss principle is: eat less, workout more. This doesn’t mean you should starve yourself while digging a mine. On the contrary if you wish to lose weight you must do some changes into your lifestyle and eat much more healthy food.


Change your lifestyle: it is good to view weight loss programs as limited periods of time meant to help you get a healthier lifestyle. It isn’t healthy for you to keep a weight loss diet for more than 2-3 months. The purpose of a weight loss diet is that of changing your lifestyle so you can stay fit and healthy when it is over.

You must eat 500 to 1000 calories less daily: this doesn’t mean you must stop eating. You have to reengineer every meal you have so that is has less calories.

You must have a balanced healthy diet, eat frequently and at the times of the day when you need more energy: even if you are on a weight loss diet, you mustn’t exclude any food group from your alimentation. You can eat a meal or a small snack every 3 hours using smaller portions. It is good to have 4-6 daily meals. It is a bad idea to skip breakfast or lunch and starve yourself, and binge at night. Your meals should contain fewer fats and carbohydrates as possible.

You must stop eating junk food and drinking alcohol: in a weight loss diet junk food has no place. Eating foods that contain a lot of fats can be major hindrance to your weight loss efforts. Alcohol also favors the forming of fat deposits. Find out how alcohol influences a weight loss diet.

You must drink as many liquids as possible: during any weight loss program you must increase the quantity of liquids you drink daily. The minimum recommended quantity of water you should drink daily is 8 cups.

You must do anaerobic and aerobic exercises: during more intense you burn more calories, and the weight lifting exercises help you maintain and increase your muscle mass. That way besides losing weight you will also shape a sexy body. It would be extraordinary if you could schedule your workouts in the first part of the day. You should have 3-4 workouts weekly, and the intensity of the workouts should increase in time. If you don’t have any prior exercising experiences you should start by working out the major muscle groups.
