We should make it a habit making our meals more green. And parsley is a great healthy way to make your meals more greenish. Your body needs energy and many vitamins. Parsley is one of my favorite herbs. I like to add parsley in my salads because of its intense rich flavor.

Raw and fresh parsley is a good source of vitamin K, vitamin C and vitamin A. Parsley also contains folic acid or vitamin B9 which is especially recommended to pregnant women. Women should consume parsley also during their menstruation because it can reduce the menstrual pains. Parsley can also regulate your menstrual cycle.

It has been proven scientifically that parsley reduces fever because its leafs contain essential oils. SO you should eat parsley especially if you are stuck with a cold.

Parsley also helps you detox your body because it is full of healthy antioxidants, like flavonoids. Of course only parsley cannot help you eliminate all the toxins form your body. You should keep a detox diet and include in it parsley. You can even make parsley tea to drink while detoxing your body.

If parsley is so beneficial for your body from the inside it should also be good for the outside of your body. If you want to get rid of freckles use the leafs of parsley. Apply them on your face creating a parsley face masc. If you have any skin rashes you can use parsley juice to alleviate them because parsley is a good stimulant of capillary blood circulation.

You can even buy parsley essential oil. It has a detox effect on your body and it helps alleviate menstrual problems. Parsley is especially a good way to detoxify your blood. It works wonders.

Eating parsley on a daily basis is easy. All you have to do is add it in your salads. It has a wonderful flavor and energizes your body on the spot. Well at least I feel a rush of energy when I eat parsley. You should definitely eat more parsley in my opinion.
