The 1000 Calories per Day Diet Plan: 1000 calories diet menu

Are you struggling with excess pounds? You are not alone. Many people are struggling to lose weight for varied reasons. What you can count on is the fact that overweight is a major source of many diseases in our modern times.

Here is a 1000 calories per day diet plan that you can use. You will consume 1000 calories, 75 grams of proteins, 100 grams of carbohydrates and 35 grams of fat.

For breakfast you can eat 200 ml of milk.

At 10 o’clock you can eat a whole grain bun or a slice of whole grain bread with cottage cheese or lean boiled meat.

At 12 o’clock a cup of coffee with honey or no sugar.


For lunch eat one raw salad (200 grams), with 100 grams of meat and an apple. You can make the raw salad form cabbage, radishes, endives, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, one spoon of virgin olive oil and lemon juice. You can replace the salad with soup or steamed vegetables. The meat can be beef, chicken. You can grill it or boil it. You can also eat 150 grams of fish or 150 grams of cottage cheese.

For supper you can eat 150 grams of boiled potatoes or 200 grams of pumpkins or green beans with 2 spoons of yogurt. You can also eat 100 grams of grilled meat or 150 grams of lean fish. For dessert eat 1 apple.

The previous diet plan is only for 1 day. Here is a 1000 calories or less diet plan for a week:

Monday: 600 calories
Tuesday: 1000 calories
Wednesday: only fruits and vegetables
Thursday: 1000 calories
Friday: only fruits and vegetables
Saturday: 600 calories
Sunday: 1000 calories

For the days when you can eat 1000 calories you can follow the one day weight loss diet plan mentioned above.

For the days when you have to eat only 600 calories you can eat 1,5 liters of milk or 2 packs of cottage cheese or 2 pieces of lean meat, 150 grams each. Of course you can combine the foods as you like it to make the day as appetizing as possible.

I recommend that you don’t follow this diet plan for more than 1, maximum 2 weeks. You should also try and fit as much exercising while dieting and especially after you end the diet. That way you will reduce the chances of getting fat again after losing it using the weight loss diet plan.
