British actress Rachel Weisz — as anyone who saw her Oscar-worthy turn in the movie A Constant Gardener knows — is a magnificently intelligent and intense performer. Her feline cheekbones, expressive hazel eyes, glossy black hair and hourglass figure has made her the envy of women everywhere, and here, the classy star dishes about embracing her natural curves and appreciating what you are.

"Don’t diet away your curves." she says firmly. "That would be like dieting away your femininity. rachel_weisz.jpgI believe in eating right, eating healthily. You don’t have to resort to drastic measures."

Rachel Weisz’s diet is the popular five factor diet plan developed by Celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak. This weight loss and fitness program doesn’t count carbohydrates, doesn’t measure foods, and do time-consuming workout routines but involves eating five healthy, specially-prepared mini-meals guaranteed to safely drop the extra pounds. Every meal contains lean protein, low-GI carbohydrates, fiber and good fats. At the end of the week, she is allowed one "cheat day" to eliminate the feeling of deprivation while keeping up motivation.

On a typical day, Rachel Weisz’s diet plan would consist of:

  • Breakfast:  apple-cinnamon oatmeal frittata, egg whites, and dry apples
  • Mid-morning snack:  non-fat cottage cheese with one apple.
  • Lunch: curried chicken salad, non-fat yogurt, and a slice of no-flour bread.
  • Mid-afternoon snack: veggie salami, non-fat cheese and brown rice cake
  • Dinner: lemon salmon, Quinoa, and side salad.

For Rachel Weisz’s exercise routine, she follows the five factor workout which includes strength training, cardiovascular, core movements, repetitions and sets. The routine lasts for 25 minutes which includes cardio warm-ups, followed by strength training wherein every day, two different exercises are performed with sets and reps. Next are core exercises which involve crunches and twists.
