Celebrity chef Rachael Ray is one of the most beloved celebrity cooks of all time. Her fun, quirky personality partnered with her captivating screen presence has made her shows top raters and have earned her countless praise and several awards. Eating all that delicious food and constantly being on the go, you wonder how she looks as great as she does. Lucky for us, she spills on her tips to achieving that fit figure.

"Have a common sense approach to eating. Eat what you should, avoid what you shouldn’t and indulge once in a while." She says as a matter-of-factly.

rachel-ray.jpgRachael Ray’s diet is a low-carbohydrate,  portion controlled eating plan. This diet keeps the carbohydrate levels in minimum and recommends intake of lean proteins and health fats.

Rachael Ray’s exercise routine includes different cardio exercises and strength training done at least five times a week.

 "I started running 3½ miles every morning after throat surgery to remove a cyst last year. The gym used to be my adversary. But that has all changed. Now, I look forward to it every morning."  Rachael claims with a smile.

She spends approximately 30 minutes running, and then hits the gym to do 45 to 60 minutes of elliptical training for muscle toning. Rachael also does yoga and Pilates every day to improve her flexibility and joint mobility.
