Celebrity Weight Loss

Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul stands at only 5 feet, but the Grammy award winning choreographer has always looked deceptively tall by balancing her height with her great shape, high energy and street-funk style. Here, the former cheerleading captain of the Los Angeles Lakers shares her secrets to owning that lithe, fit physique.

"Dancing has made me this slim." She says. "I could eat anything, and I’ll just burn it off."

"It’s not a problem for me, I’m not a picky eater, I love fruits and vegetables." She says.

On the other hand, dancing, cardio exercises and aerobics are part of Paula Abdul’s exercise routine. She’s a big fan of Billy Blanks’ Tae Bo. Paula also has personal trainer, Karen Voight to supervise her doing circuit exercises and cardio workouts such as crunches, plank and rotational squats.

"When I’m not in the gym, I keep in shape by dancing." She says. "I first started in this business as a choreographer, dancing is like second nature to me."
