Mischa Barton’s Diet and Exercise Tips: Staying Healthy and Fit While Having Fun

An actress with talent and poise beyond her years, Former OC star Mischa Barton is established as one of the most sought after young stars of her generation. Her sculpted cheekbones, deep blue eyes and great fashion sense has made her the ultimate "It Girl" in the biz. Despite many tabloid rumors a few years back about her sudden weight loss, Mischa bounces back with a vengeance, sporting a to-die-for bikini bod made possible only by discipline and hard work.  

"I’m proud of my body. I eat healthily and sometimes I pig out. But I exercise regularly." she shares. "I don’t miss a day, I work out right on schedule."

Mischa-Barton.jpgMischa Barton’s diet  follows portion control. This eating plan has no food restrictions, as long as she controls serving size and eats in moderation. Once, Mischa was quoted as saying she doesn’t eat breakfast, but she was quick to point out that it was all made up by the press.

 “I’m fine, sometimes it’s the crazy press making stuff up. I don’t ever deprive myself of anything. I’m not a vegetarian, and I eat desserts.” She says.

Mischa Barton’s exercise routine includes Yoga and Pilates at least 5 times a week. She is also a fan outdoor sports such as tennis and Frisbee, volleyball and inline skating.

"My workout routine is made up of activities I really enjoy doing." She says. "I mean, exercise should be made fun, because you’re gonna be doing it every day."
