Maria Menounos is Access Hollywood’s sizzling host, captivating viewers with the latest news from Tinseltown as well as keeping us glued to the screen by her magnetic presence and alluring bod that just seems to scream don’t you dare touch that remote!

"I lost 5 pounds just by eating from my garden every day. I have all these beautiful vegetables growing, and I started to think about what I could make to eat." She says.

This kind of eating plan allows her to have no food restrictions of any kind as long as she controls her potion sizes and eats in moderation. This is no problem for Maria, a self-confessed health nut, who has swore off junk foods from her diet a long time ago.

"I don’t like junk food, I avoid it as much as I can. Now, it’s not a problem for me at all." She adds. "I do have my occasional treats, like a slice of cake, but I balance it out by eating clean and healthy the next day."

Sample lunch?

"A fresh salad from my garden — carrots, celery, lettuce, redo onions and garlic." She says proudly. "Everything from my own garden! I just threw turkey on top and that’s it."

One way she keeps splurges in her life is by maintaining a workout schedule. Majority of Maria Menounos’ exercise routine involves cardio from push ups and jumping rope. She also plays a 30 minute basketball game with Celebrity Trainer to the Stars, Harley Pasternak, every day. Cardio exercises are regarded as among the best ways to lose weight as it burns a lot of fats and calories and hastens the metabolic process by burning 300 to 600 calories per workout. 

"Harley told me, ‘You have 30 minutes a day.’ And I said, ‘No, I’m busy every day. ‘ And he said, ‘You have 30 minutes a day.’ And I’m like, ‘You know what? You’re right. I do have 30 minutes a day.’ I could wake up 30 minutes earlier ."
