Gorgeous Kelly Hu is more than what meets the eye. She may be 1985’s Miss Teen USA, full of elegance and charm, but she’s also a martial arts black belter in Karate. With her Hawaiian genes, perfect pout and long, jet-black hair, it’s easy to fall in love with this butt-kicking hottie, but there’s another thing to love about her. This 5 foot 5 stunner has one rocking body, which she maintains by eating healthily and working out rgularly.

“I enjoy things in moderation, I don’t put bad stuff in my body.” She says. “I avoid alcohol, I don’t smoke and I eat lots of fruit and vegetables.”

Kelly Hu’s diet consists of eating well balanced, portion controlled meals. This eating plan allows her no food restrictions, as long as she keeps her serving sizes small and eats in moderation.

“I just watch what I eat. I don’t have a diet per-se. I don’t like to diet but I’m really careful about eating healthy.” She says with a smile. “I have a restaurant where we had an all-natural concept of soups, salads and sandwiches and so I’m really into that whole healthy, all natural stuff and I think that really helps.”

On the other hand, Kelly Hu’s exercise routine includes working out 3 to 4 days per week doing kickboxing, karate, and yoga.

Kickboxing is actually a blend of boxing, with martial arts which makes a lot of aerobic benefits. This exercise routine helps Kelly burn a lot of calories and at the same time building up her muscles and strengthening them too. It can actually burn as much as 30 to 1,500 calories per hour which is why it is considered a form of cardio exercise and core training as well.

Kelly Hu’s exercise actually helps in building up and strengthening her muscles and not bulking her up. She likewise prefers isometric exercises than free weights.
