Diets & Nutrition

It all depends on your definition of dieting. Most people think of dieting as a limited period of time in which you alter your eating habits in a desperate attempt to lose weight. This kind of dieting is almost always destined to fail.

But if by dieting you understand getting healthy eating habits that you keep for the rest of your life, then you definitely can’t lose weight without dieting. Unfortunately few are the persons that think of dieting as a life changing event. An opportunity to build a healthier life for one’s self.

By getting healthy eating habits that stick with you for the rest of your life, you will lose weight gradually in a healthy way. It won’t be fast and flashy but it will be effective because the weight you lose will never plague you again. In fact if you master your eating habits you will never have to worry about getting fat ever again. Plus you will get to enjoy every craving you might have.

Most overweight people would lose all their excess fat only by switching to healthy eating habits. No other change at all. The same goes for obese people also. There is no advantage in going on and off all kind of short term diets, except getting more and more frustrated with no results.

Besides getting healthy eating habits you can also lose weight by exercising a lot. And I mean a lot because you have to compensate for your unhealthy eating. You would have to exercise until you were all wet from your sweat, and them some more.

In fact, the best way to achieve quick weight loss is to get healthy eating habits and exercise at the same time. Exercising will help you lose weight at first, until your new healthy eating habits become second nature to you. This will keep you motivated and on path towards a healthier you. Once you get exercising combined with healthy eating, just sit back and watch the pounds melt away, leaving you with a sexy body your friends will envy.
