How to Increase Metabolism: how to get a faster metabolism

We all know how important a fast metabolism can be for achieving fast weight loss. We all dream of having a super fast metabolism that would allow us to pig out on whatever our hearts desire. Unfortunately not all of us were blessed with a fast metabolism. If you are one of them you should know that not all hope is lost. There are still plenty of things you can do to increase your metabolism.

The simplest and most effective way of increasing your metabolism is by exercising. This is awesome in my opinion. You get to strengthen your muscles, give a pleasant shape to your body and also increase your metabolism. All that just for taking the time to do some sort of physical activity daily. What a bargain!


Your muscles are the key to increasing your metabolic rate. Muscles need a lot more energy day in and day out to function than fat needs. The more muscles you have the more energy you will consume daily. This means that you will burn a lot more calories if you have a healthy muscle mass. All you have to do to increase your muscle mass is exercise more.

The best exercises you can do to increase your muscles mass and increase your metabolic rate are strength exercises. Weight listing is a fabulous workout which speeds up your metabolism for up to 10-12 hours after the workout is finished. This means that you don’t just burn fat while exercising, you will also burn fat after the workout is done. Going to the gym 3 times a week and doing some weigh listing will work wonders and help you melt the fat away.

The second thing you can do to increase metabolism is to eat only healthy food. This may sound easy but if it is so easy why aren’t you doing it. You see junk food clogs your body and slow down its functions. A body that cannot operate at full capacity will burn a lot less calories daily.


To help jumpstart your metabolism you could go on a short detox diet. You could give the lemon detox diet a try. After the detox diet start eating only healthy food. You don’t have to starve yourself to lose weight. You can eat all the fruits and vegetables you wish. They will help you cleanse your body, repair it and make it super efficient. That way you will burn a lot more calories.

The main advantage of having a faster metabolism is that you will lose weight fast and you will never have to worry about getting fat again. From time to time you can even splurge and indulge your unhealthy food cravings. After eating your much desired junk food, you won’t beat yourself up and regret it because you will know that you have a lightning fast metabolism.
