Raw dill and the seeds of dill have many health benefits. Dill contains many minerals (sulfur potassium…) and many vitamins (vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B1…)

Dill can be used effectively to alleviate different stomach problems. You can alleviate stomach pains and help the elimination of intestinal gases with the help of dill. You can also eat dill to prevent and even stop hiccups and vomiting.

If you suffer from insomnia you should eat more dill and dill seeds to put an end to your sleepless nights. For example, before going to sleep boil one small spoon of dill seeds in a cup of milk. You will be able to sleep much faster. You can also buy dill tinctures and creams containing dill. Usually the use of dill products is recommended in curing the lack of a menstrual cycle, menstrual pains, heart diseases, hemmoroids, indigestion and vomiting.


The most healthy part of lovage is its root. If you have any digestive problems eat more lovage. If you suffer from constipation or the runs you should definitely eat lovage. You will get regular stools form it.

Lovage lowers blood pressure and can be a good expectorant. Everyone knows that lovage root has a fabulous diuretic effect. So if you have any problems urinating eat some lovage.

Eating healthy herb is a great way to be healthy and cure some minor health problems. Mother Nature has many herbs that help us stay and get healthy. Use them and you will visit your doctor less and less.
