The human brain is a miraculous thing. For it to function at its maximum power you have to geed your brain with all the nutritive elements found in food. They act directly on your brain, influencing the neurotransmitters from the brain which influence your mood and brain health.

Your brain needs energy and it take it from proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals is a must too. When your brain feels the lack of some nutrients, problems appear because of the imbalance. You will get irritated fast, jumping from one mood to another, being a hothead. You don’t enjoy peaceful sleeping, your focus is broken and you suffer from physical and emotional problems.

A person that is hungry will be easily irritated. Those that are on a constant weight loss diet are usually the ones that don’t feed their brain right. Because of that their brain suffers many changes. Modifications appear on the level of the neurotransmitters. The neurotransmitters are the ones that transfer the nerve impulse between the nerves. Because of a an imbalanced nutrition the way the nerve impulse is send is modified creating behavior changes and your memory and learning capability get lowered.

Our brains use lots of energy. If you skip meals, especially over breakfast, all you achieve is the harming of your brain. This goes double if you are an active person. If you have a busy schedule you should give your body all the calories it needs to tackle all the daily tasks.

By not nourishing your brain and body you will suffer from hormonal imbalances. You will also feel weak and your immune system will become weaker also.
