Do Miracle Pills and Diets Really Exist?

The short and to the point answer is NO. Lots of marketers want to make you think that they have the magic weight loss formula. I mean who doesn’t want effortless weight loss. No lifestyle change, no exercising, no change at all. Just a pill, a powder, maybe a certain diet and presto: You are skinny and sexy. Wouldn’t that be nice.

I dream of effortless weight loss. You do the same. On our desire for easy and effortless weight loss most weight loss marketers make billions of dollars. You read it right. Weight loss is a billions and billions industry. Lots of money made on your desire for fast results.

I’ve checked out lots of these so called magic weight loss diets and programs. They do help you lose weight. At first you will lose lots of weight. But you won’t get to keep all the lost weight off. After the miracle diet is over, most likely you will get even fatter than you were before. Not quite the long term results you were hoping for.

Of course there are good healthy weight loss diets that provide you with the required resources to lose weight and keep it off. They too are advertized as quick weight loss solution. If they weren’t nobody would ever use them. But these diets help you change your lifestyle and your eating habits, making weight maintenance super easy.

So not all magic diets are bad, but finding the good ones is super hard. It’s like finding the proverbial needle in the hay stack.

A Warning: these good magic diets won’t help you lose 30 pounds in 2 weeks. It will take a considerable amount of time and effort to lose all your excess weight. You didn’t get fat overnight and you won’t get skinny overnight either. Maybe if you resorted to surgery yes, but with a diet never.

I’ve talked to lots of people who managed to lose weight. Their stories were almost the same. They all fell for the quick fixes. Got some short term results. Then they got even fatter. Eventually all of them realized that to lose weight they have to get healthy eating habits and change their lifestyle. Once they did that their fat melted away. I myself followed the same winding path.

Avoid wasting your time on so called miracle diets. Go on a healthy diet and lose weight once and for all.
