Claudia Schiffer has been walking up and down the runway for decades and she looks now as amazing as she did when she was young. During her like Claudia Schiffer tried many diets to help her maintain her body in shape for the cat walk, but nowadays she uses a more healthy eating based approach to dieting and weight maintenance.

Claudia Schiffer eats only organic food because it contains a lot more vitamins and minerals. Organic food is a lot more healthy and it helps keep your body young and energetic. You might even say that organic food is a spring of beauty and youthfulness.


Low calorie foods and portion control are the backbone of Claudia Schiffer’s diet. Fruits and vegetables are the food of choice for Claudia Schiffer. She eats 3 meals per day with no snacking in between the meals. Since Claudia Schiffer doesn’t use a strict diet, she can sneak in some chocolate from time to time without affecting her supermodel body. “I don’t diet because it messes up your metabolism,” Claudia Schiffer said, “Instead I eat three meals a day, particularly lots of fruit for breakfast because it’s cleansing and quickly digested by the body and I try hard not to snack in-between meals. But if I want a piece of chocolate or a biscuit, then I have one. Denial makes you crave for something even more. “

Claudia Schiffer diet is more of a lifestyle approach to weight maintenance and weight loss. According to her “I’m not one of those lucky people who can eat what they want. I have to work at it. I exercise regularly, I don’t drink alcohol – not even to celebrate an occasion – and I steer clear of caffeine.” It takes lots of sacrifice and self-control to have a body as gorgeous and as healthy as Claudia Schiffer. Guess all those efforts are worth it considering her long career as a supermodel. Not something easy to pull off.

Besides only eating organic food, Claudia Schiffer also drinks lots of fresh water and tea. By drinking plenty of water you clean your body of unhealthy chemicals and you also avoid getting hungry too often.

When it comes to exercising, Claudia Schiffer is a fan of Pilates because it helps her keep her legs in shape while looking feminine: “For me, Pilates is the best exercise regimen to strengthen legs without making them big.”
