Brittany Snow’s Diet and Exercise Tips

The 2007 hit movie Hairspray introduced the world to a blue-eyed, blonde looker named Brittany Snow. Who would have ever thought that this stunner with the killer moves and knockout body once struggled with an eating disorder? Now, the 24 year old star is at her healthiest.

"The eating stuff was really hard to deal with." She shares. "But more than anything, I’ve put my past behind me and learned to really take care of myself."

Brittany used to follow the Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type Diet, which encouraged to eat certain foods and avoid others based on blood type, believing that blood types affect the digestive system and that some food groups good for one blood type are ‘dangerous’ for another. 

Brittany-Snow.jpg"It progressed into this thing where I couldn’t stop dieting and I was losing weight and more weight." Brittany recalls. "Then my hair started falling out, I had weird skin and I was always cold. That was when I realized I had to stop."

By 19, she went into rehab and things started to get better from there. Today, Brittany Snow’s diet is a healthy balance of amounts and types of a great variety of food. She follows the portion control system, a diet based on understanding how much a serving size is and how many calories that serving size contains.

Brittany is a self proclaimed gym buff and  fitness enthusiast. Brittany Snow’s exercise routine includes lots of cardio, jogging and resistance training to stretch her body, tone all her muscle groups and keep her in shape.

"Jogging and dancing are really good ways to burn those extra calories." She says. "Do what makes you feel good. That’s the biggest thing."
