Avril Lavigne’s Diet and Exercise Secrets to Staying Sexy

Sex, drugs and fast food. That’s what rockstars are rumored to indulge in on tour. But not this one. Multi-awarded Canadian-born Avril Lavigne stays fit and sexy as when she first rocked our world with hits like "Sk8r Boi", "I’m With You", and "Complicated."

"I’m very happy with the way I look." Avril shares. "I take care of myself, I eat right. I can’t be eating stuff that makes me tired."

Avril Lavigne’s diet has changed dramatically since she decided to go on a vegetarian diet.

"I cheat sometimes, I eat fast food. But 90% of the time, I’m on a vegan diet." Avril says. "It makes me feel healthy. When I’m on tour, I stuff my fridge full with organic food and stick to that."

avril-lavigne.jpgAvril’s macrobiotic diet is a low fat, high fiber eating plan which emphasizes on whole grains, tofu and fresh vegetables as staple food. This simple balanced diet was believed to promote health and longevity.

Avril Lavigne’s exercise routine includes cycling, running, doing yoga and spin classes to tone her body and improve her muscle coordination. 

"I have to have a lot of energy." Avril says. "So, I need to eat right and be healthy, but you know, I don’t care what people think of me. I am who I am."

Wise words, Avril. Spoken like a true rockstar. Freddie Mercury should be proud.
